11. BONFIRE & BONFIRE PRAYERS
We are hoping to have a Bonfire again on Court Meadow (weather dependent). After de-torching at the entrance to Court Meadow, all Bonfire Societies, Bands & Walking Groups will be encouraged to continue down to a dedicated area around the Fire Site for Bonfire Prayers and the lighting of the Bonfire. To light the bonfire, MBS would like every Society, Band and Walking Group to nominate a person who would be willing to help light the bonfire with a flaming torch. They’ll be given a new one at the firesite!!
